As an El Paso native, Charles Nieman is no stranger to the Sun City. After marrying his late partner Rochelle, they found themselves at one of the largest churches in El Paso. Feeling empowered by the teachings of the Lord, they began a small bible study in 1977. What began as a small gathering of 12 grew into what we know today as Abundant. By following God’s calling, they were able to build a church from the ground up, one that welcomes individuals from all walks of life and faiths. His main message to this day is how to enjoy an Abundant Life, embracing positivity and blessings, something that all of God’s children deserve. Following four decades of teaching, today, Charles is the Senior Pastor at Abundant. He is a notable author, international speaker and podcaster.
