  • Nursing Home Ministry

Reaching beyond the four walls of OCFC, volunteers from Odessa Christian Faith Center go to each of our local Nursing Homes to visit with, minster to and pray with the residents.  On Saturdays, our Bible Study teachers teach the Word of God, followed by ministry and prayer.

Since 1981, Odessa Christian Faith Center has been ministering at area Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities.  This ministry has been very successful with numerous salvations and healings throughout the years.

  • ROCrageous Sidewalk Ministry

ROCrageous Sidewalk Ministry, an outreach ministry of OCFC has a mission to minister to the families in our community by showing the love of Jesus to them. We want to challenge each child to dream big, work hard and turn away from the negative parts of life, such as drugs, gangs, etc. We encourage the parents by showing them that there are people who care.

    What we do!

Every other week we arrive at each complex with our ROCmobile (a Wells Cargo trailer) that has been converted into a sound stage. We play games, sing songs and teach lessons that are taught with fun and creative object lessons.  Our ministers are excited, loving and joyful people who share the love of God.

Throughout the year we bless the families of each complex with special gifts that come from our church family. In August, children Kindergarten through 6th grade are given school supplies to begin the school year. In November, each family receives a blessing basket filled with all supplies needed for a Thanksgiving dinner. In December we are able to bless each child with gifts during our Kid'z Christmas event. To join the team sign up at a Connect Center in our lobby.
